1)What is "The Freak Age" (TFA)?
________________________________
TFA is a parody OCT, based on wacky versions of our OCs. TFA makes fun of freaks and their lives, so everything from videogames over movies and TV series to comics etc. the whole freak universe: everything our generations grow and grew up with.
--> If you ever wanted to kick mikey mouse's butt or slaugther sailor moon, then here you are at the right place!


2)What do I have to take into consideration when drawing my entry?

Your OC should not be drawn in a "normal" style it has to be drawn in SD (super deformed)/chibi OR caricature/cartoon style to underline humor. TFA is not based only on manga, every style and type of comic is very well welcomed to have a variety of styles!

3)What would an OC vs. OC entry look like?
________________________________
An example of how a face off between members would be, for example, "the craziest entry" or "the dumbest joke" etc. Here your OC has to impress everyone doing something really crazy involving all kinds of themes and subjects you want, of course in agreement with your competitor. Feel free to be creative!


4)How will my entry be evaluated?
________________________________
TFA is not a common OC tournament, although OCs are also very well welcomed to fight each other. There is still a competition! With each entry you can gather "freak" points in order to achieve a higher level as a freak and to unlock certain specials and features for your OC (for example: your OC gets super saiyan powers etc.).
Entries will be evaluated by a group of judges, who will check the entries concerning the following criterias: Humor, Parody, Cristique, Absurdity and Madness.
(Note: criterias might be changed slightly)
Nevertheless, TFA is not so much about the level of your drawing skills, but more about your ideas and humor!


5)How can I coin TFA?
________________________________
First of all, note us or leave a message to tell us you are interested. Then we would appreciate to see an audition entry. If your audition is accepted, please prepare the reference sheet for your OC. This will help other members to see what your OC looks like and is like.
Members will be put on watch. Whenever you finish an entry please send us a note with the link of your work.


6)What is allowed to do with the reference sheet?
________________________________
First of all you can find the OC reference template here as a jpg and a psd file:

can do: if you want you can change the background color or add an background. just keep in mind that the images of your OC and the information provided isn't getting lost in a rainbow of colors etc. most important: have fun and be creative!
cannot do: please don't rearrange the template nor change the logo. thank you

TFA is a free project to share art and for everyone dedicated to parody and humor. All freaks of course keep the rights of their own art and OCs. All entries will be uploaded onto the collective account and linked to the accounts of the artists!
